Insite Inventory Management

Insite - Inventory Management:
Online inventory management portal for enterprise IT carriers and vendors - Launch Site
Project Overview:
Anderson-Taylor worked as a consultant designer to MicroCorp to create the Insite system. The Insite project was built to meet the needs of independant telecom agents nationwide. This online portal enables carriers and their agents to administer telecom inventory mangement to enterprise customers. It is a place place for their clients to login and request new service, move add or change services or review inventory issues immediately from any internet connection.
Anderson-Taylor worked with MicroCorp's President Brad Miehl to design the architecture of the Insite system. This project required work with Microsoft .NET teams to develop the underlying programs, databases and support structure, hiring .NET personell to enable ease of use and scalability.
The final website portal was recently launched and is currently being used by NEC as an inventory management tool for their clients. Insite is a robust, easy to use, feature rich online inventory management portal which provides MicroCorp agentes and NEC customers with inventory management services.
Anderson-Taylor consulted on and designed many of the features of Insite from the ground up. The project has lasted several years. To enable this process, the following components were designed and developed:
- Integrated inline javascript based tools to allow customers to quickly request new reports or run inquiries about existing inventory with little server time.
- Easy to navigate interface utilizing quick open tabs and quick launch menus.
- An easy to understand admin area to log all requests, attend to all service installs, changes and additions.
- The integration of real customer care service professionals to give live a fully managed customer service and inventory management system.
- An easy to understand existing client portal area.
Parts of the site were integrated into Nautilus , MicroCorp's Agent Management System allowing admin and client users to view and manage all telecom service, inventory management and carrier issues.
This new web site portal has been well received by MicroCorp agents, NEC, AVAYA and their cusomters, with talk of more integrated projects in the future.
