Sprint - Delta Portal:
Ordering and Inventory Management Portal with an Admin Reporting System - Launch Site

Project Overview:
Sprint partner came to us to develop an online ordering system for Delta Airlines. This portal would be a place for Delta employees and friends and family to login and purchase Sprint products and services at an online discounted price.

Anderson-Taylor was also asked to develop a robust inventory management system that would integrate with the reporting side of the admin portal.

The proposed portal was a fully integrated online procurement and back end admin inventory management system. This portal would create a new interface between the two companies for ordering and managing telecom devices and services. It needed to be consumer oriented on the front end and business minded in the back end. Anderson-Taylor provided a plan for an easy to navigate and feature rich online ordering portal which clearly provides Delta employees with the a faster method to research, order and track Sprint products and services purchases as well as device and service inventory company wide. To this end, the following components were developed:

• Rich Flash based device specials which allow potential customers to quickly review new devices and Sprint product specials in a motion rich environment.
  
• A easy to navigate interface allowing corporate and consumer purchasing with the click of a button.
  
• A fully secured internet portal with robust dynamic ordering features enabling the cooresponding plans to be associated with their devices at the correct pricing.
  
• The integration of Sprints devices and service plans into a back end inventory management system.
  
• An easy to understand existing employee discount disclaimer area.

Parts of the site were integrated into ATback , Anderson-Taylor's Server Management System allowing many users to view at once without server overload. In addition we integrated multiple databases to acheive a device to plan relationship in both ordering and inventory management systems.

The web site has been well received by Sprint and their Delta Airlines client base, with many more exciting projects in the pipeline.
