Online Medical Store:
Shopping Portal with an Admin Vendor Management System - Launch Site

Project Overview:
TestMeds came to Anderson-Taylor to develop an online shopping portal. This portal would be a place for people to purchase medical tests from anywhere online.

Anderson-Taylor was also asked to develop a new vendor management backend which will allow vendors to be an integral part of the portal.

The proposed portal would need to be built from the ground up as an online eCommerce store with its own set of vendor relationships. This portal would allow new customers to purchase medical test products online. It needed to be very consumer oriented on the front end and built for TestMeds purchasing management and their vendor partners in the back end. Anderson-Taylor provided a plan for an online portal with an integrated nurse to answer questions. We also suggested a live person integration and a and feature rich online sales portal which clearly provides TestMeds customers with the a faster method to purchase their tests. To this end, the following components were developed:

• Rich Flash based Nurse Betty Character which allow customers to openly ask questions about the medical tests they need.
  
• A full store with many easy to navigate categories allowing the customer to quickly locate and purchase their tests with the click of a button.
  
• A fully secured internet portal for vendor and inventory management.

The web site has been well received by TestMeds, it's investors and vendor partners , with a new launch in the near future of a bi-lingual site.
