Quadcopters can watch over your loved ones
The next version is set to launch in early 2014 - and will be able to automatically track its owner.
It will be a fully-autonomous quadrotor aimed at the adventure sports market, and have an onboard tracking beacon capable of following the wifi signal of a mobile phone.
This, the firm says, will allow the drone to follow its owner wherever they go - even if they are skiing or mountain biking down a hill.
As long as a user can establish a Wi-Fi connection between their mobile phone and the drone, 'you're good to go,' Bruner told CNET.
